Corporate mindfulness program

Yoga Stop offers Mindfulness programmes to businesses around New Zealand. This instructor-led class will relax the body and calm the mind through a combination of breathing techniques and mental relaxation.

Mindfulness has been shown to increase quality of life, help to cope with stress, as well as improve focus, productivity, and relaxation.

As companies embrace the idea that employee mental health is directly tied to their performance, many are allocating budgets to initiatives that help improve focus, alleviate stress, improve teamwork, enhance creativity & communication, and resolve conflict.

Yoga Stop is passionate about helping enable people and businesses to be more successful and happier. Working with highly respected mindfulness experts, Yoga Stop offers training programmes for the workplace – to make it a more productive, creative, fulfilling and enjoyable place to be, helping people to achieve a balance life.

We offer 30-minute sessions for groups, a minimum of once a week.

Meditation Therapy One on One

Meditation is not finding a bearded guru and heading off to India to sit on a lonely mountaintop. And it’s also not about clearing your mind until it’s empty.  (That, by the way, is impossible.)

Meditation is simply going inside yourself.  Paying attention to what’s going on with you. Observing what’s going on in there, withdrawing the senses inwards to observe what’s inside. Meditation helps to declutter your mind and trains the mind to focus.

All of my work with clients involves learning to meditate.  This includes learning techniques that help calm down the obsessive, racing thoughts and never-ending excessive activity of the mind. Do you ever feel you need a break? Well, your mind needs a break, and meditation provides that.

Mindfulness Therapy One on One

Mindfulness Therapy is simply being “aware” – aware of what you are thinking moment by moment, and then learning simple techniques to evaluate your thoughts for what they are. Once you understand your own patterns of thought, then you can change them.

Once you become “aware” of your thoughts, you will learn how to stop your reactions to the triggers in your own life and stop being a victim of your mind. You can control a lot of aspects of your life, your thoughts being one of them. Your thoughts create your reality and only by understanding and becoming aware, you can learn to reprogram your mind by inserting new patterns of belief.
